ShiftN - distorted image correction (+ bonus)

I wanted to introduce an easy and light tool to correct distorted image : ShiftN (just google it)

It very convenient when you like a picture, but it is distorted. It' sometimes the case with sellers who take a regular shot of the front page of a magazine. Here are two exemples:

notice the strange small head. In fact this picture is already a little bit edited as i framed it and erase the borders of the page

A simple manipulation and you got some better proportions:

in this case, i even didn't need to adjust the correction:

to Image

It works well also for rotation. Indeed, there are some limits when the perspective is really messed up, but it's a good tool.

If some people are interested i can make also a little "how to" for simple image adjustement with a freeware as Xnview, an image viewer that plays video (sometimes codecs that even vlc doesn't play), works well as a simple file explorer and had some basic but good image correction options.

By the way, when i searched for a source for this example, i came accross these on ebay. I didn't take all what i found, yet there must be still some reposts from FP.

Very interesting indeed....Thanks very much for pointing this one up..!! =D>

There's one seller in particular in UK on eBay who sells glossy patterns, & obviously they are trying to avoid flash over-exposure when they photograph them for their listings..

( ..That Sirdar one looked just like one of theirs... be quite a useful add-on for anyone saving the pics..)
