A reminder...

Folks. I just wanted to give everyone a reminder here. With our new dedicated server with so much more space, our costs unfortunately went somewhat through the roof too. This place does cost a lot to run, and FrBrGr, AK, and White cannot do it all. We need your help from time to time.

For the benefit of new folks here especially, don't be afraid if you can only save enough to give us $10. That is something like three little pennies per day for a year. Those three pennies go a long way to help us. If you can afford 10 or twenty pennies per day that is fantastic! But we understand that these are difficult times. It is not easy here to make expenses meet sometimes.

We try to remind people of this as seldom as possible. But, the reality is that we need a fair bit of money to pay expenses for this site from time to time. We will assure you though that NOT ONE LITTLE PENNY will ever go into the pocket of ANYONE here. Every cent you give goes to making this site a better place for everyone! Unlike most sites, we do not have a paid owner or administrator, etc. And there are no links directing folks to other pay areas that we own as on most sites.

Lastly, as mentioned recently we hope that you love this little place, but if you ever have any suggestions we do hope that you will let us know about them. Our goal as always is to improve it to make it feel even more like home. If a suggestion is not pro to the site that is fine. You won't be banned for mentioning negatives about the site, etc. THat is how we learn to make things better here. If you don't like something we want to know about it!

Thanks to everyone for making this such a great place! And once again a huge vote of Thanks to everyone who has helped us with expenses in the past. This means so much to all of us! And please remember to give us a donation when you can, be it a large one or a small.

I certainly second White Fox here. No one is here to make money, we are here for you - and of course for ourselves, as we love our little preferences as well. We'd really like to se this place live long and prosper.

And using some of that extra space to expand the gallery with some more pics, wouldn't be a bad idea, by the way

Could I suggest a link to the donation page on this thread or a sticky thread. I assume that paypal is the main way of donating,if so maybe all of us with funds in our paypal account could donate all the spare pennies over a round figure this will vary between 1 and 99 pennies.It all mounts up

THanks Jodie. That would indeed be great. As you mention, every little bit helps, and we try not to ask for funds very often here.

I think that most people use the same "Skin" that I do here. i.e. there are two looks you can have for the site.

On the one I use, if you look on top left just under the photo and "Messages" you will see a link to "Sponsorship". The info should be in there that you need. I know a couple of things need to be changed in there and right now AKCoyote our tech guy is down sick. But he should soon be back.

If you use the other skin, you might have to look around a bit but the same link should be up top somewhere in the same area either left or right side.
