Its time for a new forum

first sorry for my english.
Well, since melody is going down, and lovewool is pretty unrealiable, i think its time for a new forum. i am an webmaster, and could run the tecnical part. im trying to make things happen in the right way, so like for example world of woman in turtleneck, we will have something we can trust, and keep our fetish.
right now i think we are on a critical situation, and i would really apreciate the help of moderators and administrators to help in this new path. i have no intention of spending money (not either making money) from this new forum. but this takes us to two paths: or we do an forum with no pornography allowed at all, that will be free, fast and reliable, or we create one that in some way people would need to keep it alive. in brazil, where i live, it would be PRETTY unexpensive to run an site, since dollar is so high right know. for an example: 40-50 usd would be enough to cover an entire year. i think sellers and users would be interested in it. since lovewool have an HUGE amount of people acessing it, i think it would be really easy.

i would like to know what people think, and i will take this discussion to lovewool to, when its up again. an idea would be if we have an starter donation of 60 dollars to make the site, for the domain and hosting. i will implement the advertising options on site, and as soon i recover the amount, i will send back to the donator, of course if he wants, and if the site keeps paying itself

Yes....sad this Board will closed and yes..lovewool got Problems.( Like all forumup.com or us Domains).But it´s free without any Cost.
A Problem is always : 95 % of users are only looking and taking Bandwith but do not participate.And the Rest of the 5 % are the active ones who moderate and work and filled the Board with Content. And pay for it..
Don´t know what to do,we have 2 Month until this Board is closing and hopefully lovewool will be online soon again so we can start a Discussion there.

It sounds like a good idea to start a new site. I've been using Tumblr a lot, but it is very nice to have a place we all can go to that is private and with like minded people.
I have no problem with pitching in a few dollars to help get it going. Even if all the real active members pitch in $10, that should be enough to cover the startup expenses. Simply start a PayPal site that we can contribute to. I would however, suggest that you name the PayPal contact info something that doesn't include the words Sweater, Fetish, Fuzzy or otherwise. That way the other members won't feel like they are exposing themselves by contributing to the site.

Let me/us know if you plan to move forward.

i also think that we all together should be able to pay a few Dollars or Euros. Like fuzzfan said - would be good via Paypal (with a Name that do not inlucde something about our Fetish,maybe only " Forum Donation).
For me Tumblr is annoying...Lots of Pics,yes but the Navigation is Hell with Original Pics and Reblogs after Reblog..No Information about the Pics,not Original Pic Number,no Discussion possible,no Set Uploads possible and so on..
It´s a bit like Instagram,share a Pic and thats it..For me it never was possible to comment something..It does not work.

I mean,there was the old Melody ( with Adult Stuff),the old woolfreaks ,then fetishpix and since a few Years lovewool..We had a Home and Forum for us all the Time.
But cause Melody quit and at the Moment it don`t looks that lovewool has a Forum it would be good to have a Home.
Looks like the italian Owner of forumup dont cares much.Yes..lovewool is free,maybe that is the Reason.Dont know if the Payboards of forumup ( com,us,it etc) runs better....

AW I'm flattered to be confused with FuzzyFreak, but he deserves credit for Paypal idea. Ideally the new site would be hosted by a VPN server so there's no downtime from other sites competing for resources, but any stable hosting environment would be fine. While not drawing a paycheck at present I would be happy to contribute $25 toward the cause – as long as there are few or no restrictions on adult content.

I couldn’t agree more with both FF(FuzzyFreak) and AW; I like that we have had a place to share and discuss our private interest and I too would have no problem contributing $$ to help fund a site, particularly if we were able to donate via PayPal to a de-identified site for exactly the reasons noted in FF’s post above.
I don’t have the expertise (or time) to help as a Mod or Admin but would be more than happy to contribute some money to help set-up or run a site to help keep a site dedicated to our shared interest alive!
