Upcoming changes and your help needed
I am currently working toward a major upgrade of the sister site thefurden.com to phpBB 3.1.5. That upgrade is scheduled for Sunday Sept 13. Once that upgrade is complete and everything is working properly there, I will schedule the same upgrade for this board.
phpBB 3.1.x introduces several User Interface (UI) changes including the relocation of several links to standard board functions. One that might be a bit confusing at first is that the Logout and User Control Panel links will be in a drop-down menu obtained by clicking on your username in the page header. Also scheduled to be included (if it works for the Fur Den) will be an integrated chat facility. This should be a big improvement over the current shared chat facility.
Unfortunately, we are getting close to the expiration of our current hosting contract and basically we are broke. This means that if we cannot raise enough money to renew, this site along with the Fur Den will go offline permanently. Having a dedicated server with enough disk space for 2 websites each with an image gallery is expensive. Any financial help is greatly appreciated even if it is only a $5 donation.
