First, I think it would be important to socialize where there exist possibilities to find a suitable partner. Wine and dine this individual, listen to them, show your interest. Be open with your affection and appreciation for their companionship, put in the time to solidify a bond, a connection. Buy little gifts just because. Visit the in-laws. Try to be considerate and kind. Then perhaps one day, point out the item suggesting it might make a nice gift.
Perhaps, just perhaps this would be one way to get this as a gift .... lol.
