While neoJaguar's offer is generous and more than I expected him to do, I must warn that parts of his offer might be impossible. Specifically moving Melody posts to the FurDen's database, or keeping this site separate and making it extremely low cost. The latter would require selling a bunch of advertisement space on the board -- know of anybody willing to advertise on a wool site?

While nothing is definite yet, neoJaguar & I are starting to plan for moving this site to a new shared server and setting up advertising to hopefully pay the costs.

If we get the details worked out, notice of when the move will occur will be posted along with approximately how long these forums will be unavailable.

neoJaguar will be moving these forums to a new shared server the weekend of July 16-17 probably Saturday night Eastern US time. The board should be unavailable for somewhere in the range of 2 to 6 hours depending on what complications occur. However there is a possibility it could take longer to get everything straightened out including the DNS entry for the domain.

Everything will be down Jul 16 from roughly 10pm EST to when it comes back up.

will do my very best to make sure everything works the way it should.

Going to somewhat mimic what I did to The Fur Den as far as the styles, and gallery, etc.

If anyone has any specifics they'd like to see either come, or go - nows the time while I'm doing my planning.

The domain has been renewed for one year, and hosting has been moved to be combined with the Fur Den's setup.

So once all this is done - we will revisit it all in a year to make sure it can be covered from here on out. The only thing that I may add here is the same advertising that I have going at the Den mostly to cover site costs. I hope everyone is ok with that.

The downtime lasted longer than anticipated due to under planning and insufficient communication beforehand between the admins. Sorry about that.

neoJaguar is looking for a new header image for Melody. Any suggestions are welcomed. Also a few updates to the layout of the links in the page header will be done.

There is the possibility for an image gallery and also a chat facility for Melody. Are either of these needed/wanted
